Bucks CCG has announced the twelve expected Primary Care Networks (PCNs). These are due to launch across the county on 1st July.
A typical Primary Care Network will support between 30 and 50 thousand patients. Each network will be made up of practices nearby one another. Together they will get increased funding for new staff from NHS England. Once staff have been recruited, the networks will start to take on new services. These services will offer patients more care closer to home and in the community.

I have just completed an on-line survey for Maple PCN. They gave an email address for those wanting to volunteer in the Patient Participation Group; the email address is REJECTED! (maple.pcn@nhs.net). Not impressed.
