This is delightful piece of history, and 1852 First Edition “Cabinet of Modern Art” Hardcover book published by E.H.Butler & Co. Hard to find. Has great engravings of 25 subjects from modern masters. Has a raised leather cover and gold edged pages.

Binding is solid but someone put some tape on one side which I have not tried to remove. Pages are amazingly crisp and white, some foxing from age. Minor shelf wear to the cover. For a book of this age, it is in good condition.
